Ni får ursäkta mitt missförstånd. Nihon Shogi Renmei klarar sällan av att uttrycka sig på ett sätt som gör att allting blir glasklart. Så icke heller denna gång. Det skall inte vara något europeiskt kval till ISF online. I stället skall "Continental Championship" vara ett sätt att banta ned antalet kvalificerade till ISF.

Jag följde lottningen på Youtube nu på morgonen. Anders Ågren Thuné skall möta vinnaren av Patrick Kandrac, Slovakien, och Sergey Trokhimyshin, Ukraina, den 29:e augusti i ett kval för att nå ISF online. Det var ju bra för Anders att han slapp ett extra parti (som tex Patrick och Sergey får), men hans motståndare får nog bedömas som relativt svår, i jämförelse med vad han hade kunnat få i den helt oseedade lottningen.

Vi får helt enkelt hoppas att Anders når hela vägen fram! Heja Anders! Heja Sverige!

PS. Jag har också skrivit till NSR och bett om ursäkt. Jag tycker iofs ändå att de har skrivit allting oklart och att dessa kontinentala mästerskap är helt onödiga för att kunna genomföra ett rättvist ISF. Turneringar med många spelare pågår ju dagligen på Internet. Ett europeiskt kval för att ge ytterligare några chansen hade varit mer rättvist. Men, men...
